HÂþ»­ the FAFU-Dal College

Established in April 2023, the FAFU-Dal Joint College is a formal partnership between Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University (FAFU) and HÂþ»­ University, two institutions with deep roots in agricultural and environmental sciences. Our mission is to cultivate globally minded graduates with the skills to address 21st-century challenges in food security, sustainable design, and agribusiness.

Key Milestones

2003+

Launch of Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Programs

  • Established cooperative programs with the University of British Columbia and HÂþ»­ University in Canada, offering undergraduate programs in Horticulture, Agricultural Resources and Environment, among others.

April 2023

Official Approval of the Joint College

  • TheÌýFAFU-Dal Joint College, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry UniversityÌý(a non-independent legal entity secondary institution) was approved by the Ministry of Education. This marks a key milestone in the upgrading of the educational model.

2024

First Enrollment of the Joint College

  • Launched theÌý"4+0" modelÌýwith its first cohort. Initial programs:ÌýLandscape ArchitectureÌý(107 students) andÌýAgricultural and Forestry Economics and ManagementÌý(105 students).

2024+

"4+0" Model Implementation

  • Students complete their entire undergraduate studies in China with access to high-quality resources from both institutions.ÌýUpon meeting academic requirements, students are eligible to receive degrees from both universities.

Upon Program Completion

Graduation and Degree Conferral

  • After completing the 4-year program and meeting all requirements, students are awarded:ÌýGraduation Certificate and Bachelor's DegreeÌýfrom Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, and aÌýBachelor's DegreeÌýfrom HÂþ»­ University (Canada).
