Applicants interested in pursuing scholarship support from NSERC, SSHRC or CIHR
For the CGRS-M (NSERC, SSHRC, and CIHR), students must apply through the Research Portal on the Government of Canada's website according to the deadlines set by the Tri-Agencies. If you are offered one of these scholarships, it can only be used at the institution offering it.
If you are applying to the Master of Environmental Studies (MES) program and believe that you may be a competitive candidate for a tri-council scholarship (NSERC, SSHRC and CIHR), please speak to the SRES faculty members you may want to work with to discuss your research interests.

Application deadline
The deadline for these scholarships is December 1st. This is an online submission and the portal will close after the deadline, thus late applications CANNOT be submitted.
Incomplete applications
It is important to note that incomplete applications, improperly completed applications and applications that do not include official transcripts or other required supporting documentation will not be accepted for online submission nor will they be reviewed. Students will no longer be able to make revisions to their applications after the December 1 deadline.
Scholarship offer
After the deadline, all scholarship applications that identify HÂþ» University will undergo an institutional review process and successful applicants should be informed by the Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) by April.Â
