Looking to strengthen your mental health knowledge and build practical skills you can use on campus and beyond—at no cost? If you’re aÌýteaching assistant, student leader, peer supporter, or simply someone who want to learn about how to support others mental health,ÌýThe Inquiring Mind: Post‑SecondaryÌýis for you.
°Õ³ó¾±²õÌýfree, evidence‑based course for students, developed by theÌýMental Health Commission of Canada, builds mental health literacy while equipping you with real‑world skills that are relevant to your academic life, future career, and everyday interactions.
What you’ll learn:
Through interactive modules and applied learning, you’ll gain the skills to:
- Recognize signs of declining mental healthÌýin yourself and others
- Know when and how to seek supportÌýfor mental health concerns or mental illness
- ´¡±è±è±ô²âÌýevidence‑based coping strategiesÌýto support your mental health and well‑being
- Respond to conversations about suicideÌýon campus
- Reduce stigmaÌýand help build a more supportive campus community
