Hi, my name鈥檚 Taya!! I鈥檓 a 4th year DAL student who majors in history and minors in classics. I have a fascination with Soviet and medieval history, as well as classical antiquity. When I'm not drowning in readings and work, I fill my days with movie watching (so I can update my Letterboxd) and absorbing niche internet lore. Hello everyone! I鈥檓 Teymour, co-president of the Dal Undergraduate History Society. I am in my 5th year, completing a combined honors in History and International Development Studies. My majors have led me to a particular interest in colonial history, politics and their intersections within the development field. My passions are travel, cooking, and having conversations about history, current events, or anything else! UGHS has lots of exciting events to offer students from all departments. Hi, I鈥檓 Bella (she/her)! I鈥檓 double majoring in History and Political Science, and I鈥檓 thrilled to be your secretary! I鈥檓 particularly interested in Russian history at the turn of the 20th century, though I鈥檒l fall down a Google rabbit hole for pretty much anything history-related. Outside of academics, I鈥檓 an avid reader, music lover, triathlete, and you can usually find me wandering downtown Halifax in search of new coffee shops. My name is Jonathan Corkum. I鈥檓 from Nova Scotia and I鈥檓 the third year representative for the history society. Right now I鈥檓 majoring in Classics and not really doing much else. I鈥檓 always willing to get lost in a deep historical or philosophical rabbit hole! In my spare time I enjoy reading, hiking, and rowing. I鈥檓 super excited to work with you all again this year!
