Representatives from RBC have volunteered their time and expertise to help students develop professional resumes since 2018 and this year was no exception.聽 聽

On Thursday, February 11, 33 mostly pre-internship students were able to video chat one-on-one with one of five RBC volunteers.

Each student emailed their draft resume prior to their appointment and were able to have a 20-minute critique through each representative鈥檚 individual video chat room. Several of the students commented how useful the experience was, with one student describing it as a 鈥渞esourceful opportunity.鈥�

The RBC representatives seemed to enjoy themselves as well with Susan Nixon stating, 鈥淕reat conversations and from all over the world.鈥澛� To which Claude Thibault responded, 鈥淵es, I had two conversations in Poland, two in the Netherlands and one in Germany!鈥�

鈥淭he willingness of the RBC crew to be creative and adapt to our current circumstances, is so amazing,鈥� remarked Joy Galloway-Jones, Instructor/Manager of Work Integrated Learning.聽 鈥淚t actually gave us ideas for improving the experience, even when we are able to do it face-to-face again,鈥� she added.
