The MicroResearch Institute is a community-driven research training and mentorship program that equips participants with the skills, support, and interdisciplinary networks needed to transform local community-based research questions into evidence-informed action. Through hands-on learning, coaching, and project development, participants learn how to design and lead research that addresses challenges identified by communities, organizations, and partners

We are seeking doctoral canidates who demonstrate strong potential for research leadership, community engagement, interdisciplinary collaboration, and knowledge mobilization. While participants may come from any discipline, we are particularly interested in students whose work has the potential to create meaningful impact in communities here in Nova Scotia.
Priority for will be given to faculties of Medicine, Health, and Agriculture
