Community Scholar Series: Dr. Matthew Schnurr
Is digitalization a viable strategy for agricultural development?
In this talk, I present data collected from four years of research in Ethiopia, one of the continent’s leading proponents of agricultural digitalization. I analyze 40+ interviews with experts alongside more than one hundred on-farm visits in the Oromia region to shed novel insights into both the rhetoric and reality of digitalization as a strategy for agricultural development.
