Frank Kamermans (BEDS’79, BArch’85) of Stewart, BC is the proud owner of a world-class toaster collection. His treasure chest of 1,500 toasters is just part of a much wider collection of antique appliances.
Kamermans, an architecture grad, has a great appreciation for this particular household appliance.
“I just think they’re little architectural sculptures and very simple,� he says. “And they have an amazing number of variations on something that simple.�
