This course is designed to听increase awareness听and听test the competency听of听tractor operators听with regard听to the safe operation and use of farm tractors and implements.听
The听following people can take this course:
- 14 to 16-year-olds with a valid Nova Scotia Class 8 drivers license who want to be able to haul equipment on Nova Scotia roads
- Those with a valid class 5 drivers license who want to increase their tractor safety knowledge and skills
Participants with a valid Nova Scotia Class 8 driver鈥檚 license who successfully complete the course will receive a wallet card that enables them to operate听a tractor with an attached implement on Nova Scotia roads. Please note that the wallet card is听valid for a farm tractor and trailer听if the combined weight is听14,000 kg or less.
