The Modern Sheep Farming class participated in the shearing of ewes and rams earlier this month at the Ruminant Animal Centre.
The resulting fleece, 750 pounds to be exact, was sent to MacAusland's Woollen Mill in Prince Edward Island for processing. The finished product – blankets, and yarn to be turned into hats, mittens and headbands - are used primarily for gifts, with a limited quantity available for sale through the
