The ability to grade without viewing student information has been available in Brightspace quizzes but was not a function within assignments. The recent upgrade to assignments has added this feature within the assignment settings. To grade assignment submissions anonymously, check the setting, "Hide student names during assessment", at the bottom of the Properties tab when creating the assignment folder.

Note: You should instruct your students not to include their name on a cover page or within headers and footers in their submissions.
