Small Group Discussions in Brightspace
Using small group activities canÌýhelp build community and establish peer communication and connection. Particularly in large enrolment courses, assigning groups for participation inÌýdiscussion forums is also one of the ways to make online discussions more effective and manageable. Setting up group discussionsÌýrequires some knowledge of the Discussion Board hierarchy and how group restriction settings work within the Brightspace system. WeÌýrecently published an instruction sheet onÌýÌýwhich will walk you through two methods of creating groups and assigning them to discussions.
