UPASS
You may be eligible to opt out of the UPass under certain circumstances.ÌýÌýTo opt out, you must submit your waiver form no later than September 16th, 2025
DSU INTERNATIONAL HEALTH
Students charged with the International Health Plan are able to opt-out from their plan if they can provide proof of enrollment in a comparable health plan. Students who are on exchange, have sponsored, or private coverage, must opt-out by the due dateÌýon the Student VIP website. International Opt-outs with MSI coverage can be submitted throughout the policy year. For further information regarding this, please contact the DSU Health Plan Office or visitÌý
FALL ORIENTATION/TRANSITION WEEK
Your HÂþ» Student Union and HÂþ» University work together to coordinate Orientation Week (O-Week) programming for new students!ÌýThe Orientation Pass (O-Week Pass) fee, included in your student account, is your ticket to all the O-Week events and activities.ÌýFor most incoming undergraduate students studying on the Halifax campus, the $130 O-Week Pass fee is automatically included in your tuition and fees. If you are a new HÂþ» student who is unable to participate in Orientation Week, you can request to opt out and receive a refund through your student fee statement. DSU HEALTH & DENTAL PLAN
Students with seperate health insurance may apply to opt out of the DSU Health and Dental Plan via Dal Online. Please refer to the DSU Health Plan website for the due date:Ìý
